AvantStay is a short-term, attainable luxury property management company looking to provide world class experiential accommodations for group travelers. We create experiences for people who are looking to vacation away from the monotony of a hotel room and towards a much more personal home getaway. We give our customers the opportunity to enjoy idealized, one-of-a-kind vacations while we take care of the details.

You’ll be doing work that matters alongside other talented people, transforming the way people travel and vacation. Your place within both the colossal traveling and real estate industry will leave you with a wealth of opportunities to feel both challenged to innovate and rewarded for your efforts. Of course, we will offer you pay and benefits, but we’re about more than that. AvantStay is a place where you can craft your own path to greatness. That said, here's what you'll be doing:

- integrate third party tools into our own platform;
- work closely with all teams and fellow developers to improve existing features;
- model and implement GraphQL APIs to be consumed by our web and mobile clients;
- model and implement KPIs;
- suggest improvements to our codebase;

Requisitos

Requirements:

- fluent spoken and written english;
- functional programming knowledge;
- ability to write clean, well structured, tested and reusable code;
- proactive communication;
- support members of a project in delivering backend services with high availability, low latency and scalability;
- architect, design, develop, deploy and operate services that serve AvantStay customers and internal teams;
- ability to work unsupervised and deliver fast results;

Nice to have:
- functional programming experience with Scala with Cats and Monix;
- experience with devops, especially using AWS;
