In 2008, a group of educators in the U.S. were frustrated by the one-size-fits-all approach to education. The group of educators developed their own software and opened international schools that combined Project Based Learning with competency based assessment. Through this, Centric Learning was founded to work with the school staff and young people to create HERO, our flagship online learning platform.

Atividades e Responsabilidades

Work with U.S. based development team to create new product features using HTML5, CSS, Javascript, PHP, and MySQL.
Communicate project status to U.S. team, including progress or blocks.
Produce project estimates during development process including hours required. Work with end users to gather requirements and document feedback
Utilize Git for version control of projects

Requisitos

We are seeking a web developer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in PHP / MySQL web development. This position will work closely with our team located in the United States. Developers are expected to create new product features, improve performance, and maintain LAMP server functionality. Experience with PHP and MySQL is required for programming, and familiarity with Linux / Apache for server maintenance. Good communication in English and customer service skills are also required.
