We are seeking a Java Developer Sr to join our team.

This job is located at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio.

This is a role that will primarily focus on defining, documenting and enforcing technical standards for the EMPS team. Candidates for this role must be able to articulate in detail how to organize projects and code and follow conventions around writing effective unit tests. The ideal candidate must be able to jump in, use an IDE and be able to step through framework code and work with the development team on addressing any technical challenges.

👉 What will be your attributions at #Luby?

- Working with scrum masters and solution leads to define and break down requirements and help with technical designs at the macro and micro level;
- Creating and documenting technical standards for writing code, unit tests and integration tests, and helping to build tools and processes to enforce those standards;
- Working with individual developers and development teams to solve technical issues related to code, configuration, build and deployment;
- Analyzing existing operations and providing training sessions and meetings to discuss improvements.

Requisitos

👉 Position's Requirements:

- Strong technical knowledge of development practices, with the ability to jump in and write/ debug Java code;
- Strong knowledge of Spring Boot (2.3 or higher) and Spring Security (5.x preferred), with hands-on experience using frameworks such as Spring Security (5.x), Webflux / Reactor, GraphQL (DGS / Spring), and Mybatis;
- Hands-on experience with JUnit 5 is preferred, but JUnit 4 is acceptable;
- Understanding of build tools such as Maven and Gradle, and an ability to understand and debug Gitlab CI pipelines, and work with Helm charts;
- Hands on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (Azure experience preferred);
- Understanding of Kafka platform, including event streaming, topic creation and configuration, and Spring Boot integration with Kafka.
