A rapidly-growing fintech company helping users to invest a portion of each paycheck, earn more, and receive money advice, is looking for an Android Engineer. The engineer will be taking complete responsibility for at least one feature, from requirements to implementation. The US-based company's advanced technology helps users to build their wealth, experience financial freedom, and build an effective investment portfolio. They have securely raised more than $500mn during their Series F round of funding. This position requires 6+ hours of overlap with the ET/PT time zone.

Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a variety of teams, including back-end, QA, design, product, and others
- Learn about the product roadmap and all exciting new projects that will be launched in the near future
- Find out more about the codebase and the products
- Improve your knowledge of the team's major projects
- Learn about and contribute to the conventions and architecture of the Android app
- Contribute to app features by working closely with the product and design teams
- Identify areas for improvement, contribution to and promote the engineering culture
- Provide guidance on best practices for the Android application development
- Assist with framework and tool selection decisions
- Create reusable and efficient Android abstractions
- Optimize the application for maximum performance and scalability

Requisitos

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
- Must have knowledge of Android, Android Studio and Kotlin
- AWS, Azure, and GraphQL knowledge is nice to have
- Experience implementing third-party SDKs on Android (Social Media, Marketing/Crash Analytics, etc.) is required
- Must have a solid understanding of Object-Oriented (OO) application design and development
