Challenge
We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to build and scale multiple areas of frontend development for HealthyTogether. As part of a small but growing engineering team, you will have ownership over large parts of our product. The right person for this role is driven to produce quality work & can make appropriate trade offs when we need to iterate rapidly.
What you’ll do
You will be working closely with other developers, leaders, VP and CTO, and using new and fresh languages, technologies and methodologies to build a great product that has very positive social impact.
You will receive requirements and work with team members to define the problem, potential solutions and successful metrics, working in a dynamic environment, developing coherent solutions
You will develop a high quality interface in a scalable fashion
Mandatory skills
- Solid professional experience doing Frontend web development.
- Expertise working with a frontend application framework such as Vue or React. You will be using Vue.
- Deep knowledge of CSS and how to style components in a scalable fashion.
- Experience building secure authentication and authorization.
- Experience integrating with REST APIs.
- Driving appropriate caching strategies to optimize performance.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with TDD or tests development, either on unit or integration layers.
- Jest and Cypress are major plus.
Non-technical skills
- Proven track record of solving problems and getting things done in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment
- A good attitude and ability to have some fun
- Excellent communication skills
