Atividades e Responsabilidades

The Full-stack Vue and Ruby on Rails Software Engineer will help develop and maintain features in a flagship business software web application that is used by financial advisor clients. Wielding Vue.js, Ruby on Rails, and SQL, the right individual will take pride helping to implement a web application in a fast-paced environment as part of a small and supportive dev team. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter who thrives on responsibility, creative problem solving, and constant learning.

Responsibilities

- Work remotely during USA business hours
- Join a positive, friendly team that is focused on business success
- Implement full-stack stories, utilizing mainly
- Vue.js
- Ruby on Rails (for REST API and report generation)
- SQL
- Other tech: HTML, CSS, AngularJS 1.7, Docker, Go
- Be responsible for quality and testing of your own work
- Work independently in consistent and supportive communication with a team lead and other developers
- Work fast and with focus, valuing solutions that are simple, readable, and maintainable
- Be supported and appreciated in a small company

Requisitos

Requirements

- This is a consulting/contract opportunity only
- 1+ years professional experience working on a custom web application
- 1+ year experience with a JavaScript framework such as Vue.js, React, or Angular
- Working knowledge of Ruby
- Proficient spoken English Language skills
