Atividades e Responsabilidades

Purpose of the Role
We are looking for a Ruby Developer to join our team working on developing back-office tools for a marketplace focused on kitchenware designer pieces. As part of our team, you will work closely with the client, peers and project management and your focus will be to fix the current issues in the platform, so we can continue to add new functionality further along the line.

Duties and Responsibilities
Participate in architecture and roadmap planning of the product’s new features
Take an active role on both client and server-side programming leveraging your knowledge
Follow the latest technology trends and implement best practices
Troubleshoot, maintain and fix issues as they arise
Work closely with PM, Devs, QAs, Ops and stakeholders to ensure the best product outcome
Follow Agile methodology and keep work well documented

Requisitos

Required Experience & Knowledge
Essential:
Solid web programming experience using and following TDD principles
Experience working with Ruby, Ruby on Rails, RSpec
Good knowledge of front-end tools such as VueJS, SASS, Javascript, HTML, CSS
Experience integrating front-end components into the back-end logic
Understanding of SQL and working knowledge of MySQL and PostgreSQL
Client-facing experience in an Agile environment

Desirable:
Working knowledge of AWS and integration testing

Required Education & Qualifications
Advanced level of both spoken and written English language
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or relevant experience
Any relevant certificate would be considered a plus
