Atividades e Responsabilidades

Ensure developer productivity is high. Identify current team inefficiencies and drive initiatives to address them

Be a thoughtful technical voice and support the development team in making diligent architectural decisions

Contemplate several, and often conflicting, constraints and make rapid decisions.

You can anticipate future technical product needs and create plans to realize them

Be actively involved in setting product strategy

Manage and optimize the full software development life-cycle

Lead agile processes

Develop robust deployment and continuous integration techniques

Work with product owners to break down requirements into logical technical tasks

Add positive energy in every meeting; make your coworkers feel included in every interaction.

Work with HR to source and hire amazing engineers who will expand culture and product

Requisitos

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent training or work experience

7+ years of relevant engineering work experience, with 2+ as engineering manager

Extensive software engineering experience combined with a track record of success leading engineering teams

A high level of organization and planning, with the ability to prioritize tasks and keep projects on schedule

A deep understanding of web technologies

An understanding of the value derived from shipping code rapidly to production and learning/iterating on the results.

Experience in working in an agile development environment

Experience with git, continuous integration and deployment tools

Thorough understanding of web application development and frameworks

You love helping engineers develop new skills and advance in their careers. You don’t shy away from performance conversations and you recognize the relationship between objective feedback and career growth.

You are intimately familiar with front-end development technologies, such as HTML, CSS, Javascript and React, and also with back-end technologies and stacks, such as LAMP and MEAN

You are a hands-on manager willing to get your hands dirty if needed
